A Day in December

WOW.... I am back again... it has been a tour of many different types...  Since I was last here, I have done so very many different things and had fun and enjoyment in all kinds of ways...

So I will share with you some of the things that I have made over the past months...  I have been busy getting ready for the boutiques held at the Agricultural Center in the center of Mill Springs...  it has been fun... and also a lot of planning on what to do, what to share etc...  but at this point I only have one more day down there... Saturday, and so I wanted to try and share these with you...

These are some shadow boxes that I just had to make...  once I make something that I really love, I can't stop... and so I had to make a few more...

The Sleigh Ride...  of course I forgot to take a picture of this with the LIGHTS all on...  but the lantern lights up and of course there is a 'candle' in the window...I get a little carried away with all the details... but I think that is what makes each one so very unique... like the skates hanging on the sleigh...  and a cookie cutter heart on the edge of the box...  all fun things that we do at Christmas time...

This one is a little bit different... and the window does have a candle that lights up...  and the tree is all decorated with with pearls...  I love the mess of stars that the moose is hanging out in...

Another lantern in the scene... with a pearl decorated tree... and lots of crystals to represent snow...  PEACE on earth...

More lights, lanterns, pearls on the tree and a handpainted mural in the background.  all Christmas feelings ....  you just need the music to accompany these.   and it will be a lovely day for all..

Have you ever bought something that YOU really didn't have any idea what you were going to use it for???  I generally dont' do that... I do have a general idea as to what I am going to do with most things I buy...  well this one package of paper was a real splurge... and it was bugging me... and finally I decided to make a set of a Never Ending Card, Eloquent Box and matching envelope out of it...  I think You might have seen this...

I just love this wonderful paper by Anna Griffin... her papers are so very eloquent and take you to another level of beautiful...   well... a lot of people fell in love with these...  and now have them as keepsakes, and also as presents for loved ones over the coming weeks...  so I decided to make some other sets, with a Never Ending Card, Envelope and box...

Here are a few of the boxes...  sorry I can't show you all of them...  I just haven't taken pictures yet...

Holly and Glitter... oh my... what sheer delight in my heart...  I love it...  the Glitter is so very red... and it is just perfect for this floral bouquet on the top of this box...  the Never Ending card and Envelope of course match it... what a wonderful way to present a gift to someone special in your life...

If you would like to have a set, please write to me... I will mail you out a set...

These Glittery balls are also a pretty sight...  with a soft bow on the top...  all so very light and pretty...  layered upon each other on this box top...

I love pinecones, red bows, holly leaves.. and so another box... with all that on it... and a lot of LOVE!!!!

I also have had another birthday since I last wrote on my blog... and am enjoying my 69th year on this earth walk.   So very much left to do, and my list keeps on getting longer and longer each day...  wow... will I ever get to the bottom???? I hope not...

I just wanted to say something to all of those of you who have sent letters of inquiry about different things... Glenn and I have been sick with this flu/cold thing... it is really not something I want to share with anyone...  Glenn really had it much worse than I did...  with a touch of his old malaria acting up again too...  we have not been 'sick' for over 40 years... so this really took a tole on us... but we are back on the path again... and enjoying life.  Now if they would tell us that we would have a high speed internet connection we would be even happier... but hey...  life deals us what we need to experience...  right???

Thanks so much for all your love and thoughts over the past few weeks...  I love you all.. .

Hope you have a wonderful Holiday time... Merry Christmas, and celebrate the holidays to the fullest...

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
